Ethan Meers is a Principal of Kinship Capital and is responsible for building and managing Kinship’s long-duration multifaceted real estate portfolio. His responsibilities include managing commercial real estate investments, structuring partnerships and capital structures, and formulating Kinship’s real estate strategies.
Before joining Kinship, Mr. Meers was with the Related Companies, a privately-owned and highly diversified industry leader known for innovation in the real estate world.
Mr. Meers began his career with Telesis Corporation, a Washington DC based firm that plans, finances, and builds affordable urban communities.
Mr. Meers holds a B.A. in history and American Studies from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he also collaborates and mentors as a returning alumni in the classroom. Mr. Meers is an emeritus trustee of the Nature Conservancy in Illinois, is a member of the Executive Committee of The Chicago Community Trust, and is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
