Ethan Meers is a Principal of Kinship Capital and is responsible for building and managing Kinship’s long-duration multifaceted real estate portfolio. His responsibilities include managing commercial real estate investments, structuring partnerships and capital structures, and formulating Kinship’s real estate strategies. Additionally, Mr. Meers manages a variety of compliance and asset management activities for the group.
Before joining Kinship, Mr. Meers was with the Related Companies, a highly diversified real estate industry leader with expertise in virtually every aspect of development, acquisitions, management, finance, and sales. Mr. Meers began his career with Telesis Corporation, a Washington DC based firm that plans, finances, and builds affordable urban communities.
Mr. Meers holds a B.A. in history and American Studies from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he also collaborates and mentors as a returning alumni in the classroom. Mr. Meers serves on the Board of Trustees for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), is a Trustee of the Nature Conservancy in Illinois, and is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
